Job Description

The incumbent will work under the direction of a Sr Director, but will have daily autonomy to organize and deliver the work in a logical way. This role requires a combination of technical skills and experience, and the ability to communicate and influence to sustain high standards of process documentation and controls compliance.

Accountabilities:

  • Maintains centralized documentation for GHROps processes and controls, working with team leaders and their staff to ensure maintenance, revision and renewal of documentation, and periodic internal testing of controls
  • Coordinate with Corporate Audit to ensure provision of information to meet audit requests, and monitor and report on resolution of audit findings
  • Provides the inputs needed to support the development and execution of a GHROps strategy that delivers baseline operational performance and development of capabilities to meet new business requirements
  • Provides hands-on support from a documentation, process design, or controls assessment perspective for the GBS Global HR Lead
  • Provide analysis of local deviations from standardized global HR processes, document their causes, and work with GHROps leadership to develop and track harmonization plans
  • Provides training/coaching to GHROps team members and key stakeholders who are unfamiliar with documentation and controls principles, framework and tools
  • Executes tactical activities that include, but are not limited to:
    • Process reviews
    • Controls analyses
    • Status reporting/communication
    • Learning/training events for GHROps
    • Project management for initiatives designed to remediate control weaknesses
    • Deployment/adoption measurement
    • Sustainment plans
  • Integrate documentation and control activities into GHROps project plans
  • Proactively supports multiple work streams to execute against GHROps documentation and control priorities
  • Collaborates with GHROps leaders to seek input and prioritize deliverables

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT/Operations/HR organization
  • Broad understanding of IT, business process, accounting, auditing, financial analysis, forensic accounting and controls
  • Experience collaborating with business teams and subject matter experts in understanding, optimizing and/or automating business processes
  • Business analysis and business process improvement experience
  • Attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables in the allotted timeframe
  • Global project management experience
  • Large scale HR or IT process redesign exposure
  • Experience in HR transformation, shared services implementation, External/Corporate Audit, and internal controls documentation and processes are advantageous
