Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic marketer to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand-building, consumer engagement, and financial results across Foodservice, including Restaurants, Recreation & Retail, and Workplace channels. This role is a great critical experience to understand consumer/shopper insights, operate as a sophisticated strategist, manage ambiguity, and have impact at a national and local levels. Accountabilities include:

  • Lead the brand building marketing agenda for Foodservice, responsible for leading channel plans for a portfolio of brands
  • Partner with Brand teams to translate national brand plans into appropriate programming and tools for the Channel.
  • Charter new capabilities, including digital-enabled insights including social listening, store-level and loyalty data and apply to sales & beverage incidence strategies
  • Forge new strategies and insights to capture demand delivery occasions as a growth opportunity
  • Establish relationships with senior level internal (typically Director+) constituents
  • Manage Agency and partner relationships to develop marketing solutions that deliver against key strategies and partnership marketing needs
  • Advocate internally with cross-functional leaders, securing resources and/or removing barriers to facilitate delivery of growth driving programs for PepsiCo and our customers - across PBNA and Equipment platforms
  • Manage an annual PepsiCo A&M budget, partnering with Marketing leadership and colleagues to prioritize and re-allocate funds as needed to support the highest impact programming for PepsiCo
  • Deliver Annual Operating Plan programming that showcases portfolio impact to land targeted growth
  • Establish Partnership Marketing standards and capabilities across broader Marketing
  • Travel Required (up to 10% of time)

Qualifications/Requirements

Undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) with 5-7 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods or foodservice industries; MBA with a concentration in Marketing is preferred
  • Best-in-class collaboration, communication and influence skills in a matrix environment – proven ability to partner flawlessly with Marketing peers and ability to manage up/down/around
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external senior leaders
  • An analytic, strategic thinker who is self-confident, straightforward, flexible, and demonstrates a bias for action
  • Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
  • Customer & Consumer Empathy - building strong understanding of customer and consumer problems to solve, and inspiring trust and excitement to deliver against around shared goals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills, and the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with key stakeholders
  • Proven expertise in creative agency management
  • Outstanding leadership skills with proven experience influencing teams through org changes, high-stress, and periods of ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple levels and functions

  • Strong project management, analytical, creative thinking and problem solving skills
