Purpose of the role
PepsiCo is a leading food and beverage company in Europe, with presence across many complex markets where we have a broad range of categories and products. This very successful business is launching a multi-year business transformation program which is relying on an SAP S4 backbone and other integrated strategic solutions being rolled out. The purpose of this role is to lead the technical activities in the Go To Market space. The team consists of technology and development/integration experts as well as functional experts, business analysts, vendor partners, consultants and internal/external service groups
Our first program deployment is focusing on our Benelux business units with a project office in the Benelux, while our teams are based across multiple hubs around Europe and the World. Subsequent rollouts of the solution are planned across the sector.

Reports to the ESSA D&D Technology Director
Works closely with other leaders within global IT and the technology function
Partners with external vendors and partners
Partners and closely collaborates with Functional delivery leads
Sector Technical lead for Commercial Functions (OTC, Field Sales Execution, DSD, Trade and Promotion management); facilitates solution management, template management, and governance
Leads project technical delivery teams across portfolio for assigned function and tightly integrated applications for Europe.
Engages with Global Functional Horizontal teams for process governance, ensures adherence to global standards.
Partner with business leaders & Architecture teams in defining solution roadmaps.
Work/collaborate with external vendors globally as well as locally within the sector.
Leads SAP Basis work for TPM deployment in ESSA to deliver within project timelines and budget.
Leads Technology work for sector Go To Market solutions
Understands the architecture and landscape design for Go To Market solutions (ECC, S/4, CRM/TPM, etc) including connectivity to other systems
Responsible for coordinating amongst members of different teams to address and resolve any issues or problems, escalating to vendors, partners and other support managers as required.
Partner closely with external vendors, including onshore and offshore resources.
Provides Technical cut-over, Go-Live and Hypercare support
Governance and controls to ensure adherence to technology standards, best practices, release management, change management, and other related processes and procedures, SLA and controls compliance
Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
Influences correct solution design to ensure sustainable and efficient operation
Partners with global Enterprise Architecture team to establish and help govern architecture standards.
Ensures effective resource utilization across the workgroup
Coordinates the contract and vendor management related activities complying with global guidelines.
Minimum of 15 years of related IT business work experience.
Minimum of 10 years on SAP Basis administration role
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience in global SAP and other ERP implementations, experience managing large global teams.
Experience on S/4 HANA implementations
Experience on SalesForce implementations (nice to have)
Knowledge and experience running administration on the following systems: SAP S/4 HANA, BI, CRM (TPM), Fiori, Business Objects, Dataservices, PO/PI, Portal, GRC.
Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, quality management tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation and production support experience
Proficient in written & spoken English, and good communication/soft skills.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work and collaborate across project teams, onshore/offshore.
Demonstrates the desire and ability to develop new technology skills, business knowledge, and customer service capability through training, experimentation, and self-study
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability of managing/lead SAP basis technical team
