We are seeking an Category Manager COE (Demand Accelerator Analyst) responsible to support market execution through providing Category and Trade Marketing analysis, while supporting the development of centralized capability for markets. This position is based in Hyderabad, India and will report to DX COE Heads

Qualifications/Requirements

Functional Responsibilities

  • Leveraging multiple data sources and understanding of Customers strategies, shopper insights and trade Marketing to support local markets in driving winning execution at store level. Support the team in the analysis required for store execution
  • Support JBP analysis and Customer Seling Stories by providing expert analysis, insight and Catman input to Customer Team members. Have knowledge of data bases to help pull analysis for the stories
  • Support in preparing White Space Development - Opportunity Sizing by Channel and by customer including base level selling decks for new products or new customers, and Sales decks
  • Coordinate on developing a centralized planogram system.
  • Support development of Master Planograms in partnership with the corresponding Category Managers taking into account Customer requirements and limitations as well as overall Market strategy by channel. Deliver the planograms in a timely manner adding the requested features such as product images and measurements
  • Generate scorecards, and reports on a routine basis for the category for key customers and markets
  • Act as a support to the Market Execution Team
  • Work with capability leaders across clusters/sectors to continue to improve delivery solutions and advance and harmonize capability for future development
  • Serve on functional and cross-functional teams and have the skills to consult with team members to Identify and resolve recurring performance problems and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in regular operational review calls with Business Partners and Business Leaders
  • Maintain relationship with Markets and business departments
  • Manage Team’s scope, workload and ad hoc requests
  • Ensure delivery against agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators

Key Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering: MBA a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales & Marketing/commercial roles with knowledge in Category Management / Insights / Analytics/Promotion Management and Sales Execution
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong PC skill set (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with standard data resources and solutions (Syndicated POS, Panel, Retail Link, RSI)
