The Global Research and Development Technical Team and Project Management Office is accountable for leading PepsiCo Global Beverages R&D projects from start to finish by leveraging tools, influencing others and constantly communicating to deliver projects with excellence.

The Senior Analyst Technical Team Leader, will become a champion of how projects are done at PepsiCo along with having exposure to cross functional team teams and joint venture partners.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the definition of scope, project goals, and success criteria
  • Plan, schedule & track project timelines and milestone deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
  • Communicate with Key stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers
  • Estimate budget proposals, resource needs and recommend additional budget needs as per the analysis.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
  • Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential constraints and devise contingency plans
  • Influence project team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work (inside and outside organization)
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Conduct project “lessons learned” meetings and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Understand and use best practices & tools for project management and execution
  • Create and lead cross functional Technical Teams through the Stage Gate process from Idea Refinement to Launch
  • Communication conduit between the R&D cross functional Technical Team and the Business Team
  • Understand the key technical characteristics and general business implications of the broad range of products, process, and packaging technologies used by PepsiCo
  • Develop effective working relationships to gain matrix resources to support group's initiatives
  • Assist in the performance of risk analysis for complex projects, resulting in risk registers, mitigation strategies, and communication plans
  • Clearly communicate project status, risks and scope creep with impact to all stakeholders on a regular basis

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree of Science
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience overall
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products including Microsoft Project
  • Experience in a consumer products research & development function a plus
  • Background in development and commercialization of new products strongly desired
  • Familiarity with PMI methodology preferred
  • Project Management Professional Certified (PMP) is strongly desired
  • Six Sigma Knowledge/experience a plus
  • Willing to travel globally
  • Multilingual skills a plus
