Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Global Sustainability, will be accountable for developing and supporting programs that ensure that PepsiCo meets its environmental sustainability goals while continuing to maintain the desired economic and social value proposition for the business. This role will primarily be accountable for technical management and support of PepsiCo’s global Sustainable from the Start program for integrating environmental sustainability into product innovation processes. This role will serve as the primary technical point of contact for the program, including maintenance of the program’s life cycle assessment tool and day-to-day support of the program’s cross-functional stakeholders at both sector and global level.

  • Support global roll-out of Sustainable from the Start (SftS) program –coordinate and deliver training, develop communication materials, administer Q&A, and ensure continual improvement in program functionality and effectiveness
  • Serve as global technical point of contact for the SftS global life cycle assessment tool (‘Footprinter’ tool)
  • Support capability building across functional teams (including Sustainability, Global R&D, commercialization teams, Design, Consumer Insights, and Marketing). on use of the SftS tools as well as interpretation of results in order to further sustainability objectives
  • Manage development of data analytics platforms and dashboards that support business case development for Sustainability improvements
  • Establish and maintain a global database for Life Cycle Assessment emission factors to support and inform product innovation and supply chain decision-making

Qualifications/Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Engineering Sciences or related field with 5+ years in related consumer goods field.
  • Master’s in Environmental, Engineering or Business a plus.
