Job Description

The Finance Assistant Analyst- Reporting position is a member of the North American Shared Services team and contributes to the success of PepsiCo, Inc. by providing the A/R and Credit management teams with the data and analysis needed to mitigate risk, minimizing bad debt expense, drive unconventional revenue, enhance productivity and improve cash flow.

Specific accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Routine reporting & analysis of productivity metrics, cash flow trends and work flow trends
  • Preparing appropriate and insightful statistical analysis for internal partners
  • Development and implementation of innovative reporting solutions with the purpose of continually improving speed of delivery and reducing the time investment required to prepare reports
  • Continuous monitoring and auditing of data to ensure data integrity standards and control requirements are being met
  • Contribute to internal process improvements by developing deep understanding of operations teams across NASS A/R & Credit
  • Create & manage multiple competing projects while partnering with internal support functions and customers
  • Develop, maintain, query, and optimize data warehouses
  • Perform monthly analysis of A/R operations and propose recommendations accordingly
  • Drive organizational efficiency through automation, technology and streamlining efforts
  • Leverage technology to support initiatives across the NASS Organization
  • Facilitate team projects that support A/R needs


Basic Qualifications:
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Access, Business Objects, VBA
  • Experience with SQL programming
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data
  • Must be dependable as well as willing and able to adjust work schedule to meet business needs
  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with multiple levels of internal and external partners
  • Self-motivated & results oriented
  • Works well in a team environment; open to peer development feedback
  • Can influence others without direct authority
  • Ability to translate operational needs into deliverable reporting packages
  • Comfortable challenging status quo to drive improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have an eye for detail; ability to audit data sets for reasonability
  • Four year degree in computer science, information technology, math, accounting, business or finance degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of A/R processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and complete multiple concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
