Main Purpose of the role

  • AMENA I/E Commercialization is focused on revenue generation via demand aggregation & fulfilment of import/export programs and projects within the AMENA markets. This is enabled through a structure of sector lead role (revenue generating, demand aggregator, process improvement) in conjunction with Commercial Project Managers focused on specific markets (demand fulfilment, simplification and leverage, project management and timeline delivery)
  • The scope of this Commercial I/E role is specific to the AMENAxIndia sector (with a focus on the legacy APAC Region markets – including Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, and Australia) with accountability for accelerating cross-category growth across BUs by supporting PepsiCo’s Import / Export business
  • Key responsibilities will include flawless execution of I/E innovation projects through project management excellence, connecting with key stakeholders to ensure category/consumer connectivity and opportunity aggregation, ownership of governance forums, driving visibility and delivery of projects via Stagegate/Accolade, and general management of the Pipeline .
  • They should support the AMENA Import/Export Director to define and build the appropriate I/E business model that includes right product range sourcing strategy, pricing, GTM strategies that address consumer/business/customer demand and help PepsiCo build a premium, profitable portfolio across Snacks, Nutrition, and Beverages

  • Project management for key Import/Export Projects from concept to customer – lead & drive x-functional teams, managing scope / timeline / risks / contingencies / costs
    • Includes portfolio management and leveraging a deep understanding of project health, risks, resources, unlocks and trade-offs required to deliver targets
    • Ensure the right innovation portfolio choices are made to drive simplification & leverage by ensuring connecting with respective Category / Sales leads
    • Relentlessly seek opportunities to aggregate and streamline demand across markets to drive project leverage
    • Identify risks to AOP delivery and proactively identify ideas to close any gaps to plan
  • Own the innovation process & lead end-to-end governance for the BU (Hopper, Stage Gate, DICE, Forums, Accolade)
  • Systematically measure performance and drive flawless execution vs KPIs (business & process) to drive change & continuous improvement
  • Develop & embed best in class Commercialization capability within the BU (training, tools, processes, scorecards), consistent with Global & Sector best practices & principles


Key Requirement

  • Bachelor degree, 5+ years of experience
  • High level of business acumen, must be commercially savvy with strong analytical and project management skills
  • Effective communicator with people of all levels and functions in the organization
  • Ability to see (& sell) the “big picture” while ensuring attention to (important) detail
  • Ability to comfortably balance and prioritize projects based on an evolving set of criteria
  • A strong self-starter, comfortable setting and delivering a transformation agenda from scratch
  • High level of executive maturity (as role will interact with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies in a matrix environment). Will need to manage ambiguity in an ever changing environment with competing priorities
  • Technically savvy with strong capability in Excel, working knowledge in Tableau analysis software strongly preferred
