Job Description

We are looking for a talented Marketing Director to drive the Pepsi Max agenda across West Europe, focusing on driving penetration for the brand, elevating the role of no sugar beverages and partnering with the Global Beverage Group and the Business Units to develop powerful, distinctive, digitally-anchored campaigns and brand platforms.

As Part Of Your Role, Key Deliverables Will Include;
  • Sets global agenda for West Europe and partners with Global Beverages Group to align priorities, brand & innovation strategies and campaign development
  • Drives increased effectiveness and efficiency of the brand activation plans for the Pepsi brand portfolio by leveraging Pepsi Max to halo the cola portfolio
  • Leads the short-term, brand innovation strategy for colas while partnering with the Innovation Director, Global Beverage Group and Business Units to establish and deliver powerful brand plans that drive growth
  • Develops and delivers multi-market brand programs for the cola portfolio (region-led) focusing on Pepsi Max – including a close partnership with the UCL team and lead markets
  • Owns and manages the regional brand scorecard and established best practices for the regional brand activation
  • Owns and manages the Pepsi Max media strategy and key KPIs (W/NW media, A&M prioritization) to drive effectiveness and efficiency (in collaboration with Marketing Services)
  • Manages implementation of global brand playbooks, standards and monitors compliance (brand stewardship)
  • Accountable for overall design strategy, agencies management and artwork compliance via approving all standard and promotional pack artworks
  • Partners with Business Units and Commercialization to develop winning marketing calendars and activation plans
  • Supervises and approves BU work on local cola brand activation and promotions
  • Manages a team of three, cola-dedicated category marketing leads


What we are looking for?

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple brand engagement programs & achieving sustainable in-market results and long-term brand equity growth. Ideally knowledge & experience of food & drink category (social beverages experience a plus)
  • Strong functional Innovation experience including; Excellent skills in uncovering insights that drive strategies for growth, Creative processes & development of integrated marketing comms, Agencies management, Digital marketing, Brand PR and communications, Innovation and commercialization processes, Experience of creating & launching new Marketing integrated programs with high impact in the marketplace
  • Evidence of successfully influencing business agenda to support Marketing as a key growth lever
  • Deep understanding of the commercialization process and activation levers to maximize number of both consumer and trade support
