WMS Lead:

Seeking a highly motivated systems savvy individual to plan and schedule WMS activities. The WMS Lead’s primary responsibility is to provide a high level of customer service to all customers and carriers through managing and maintaining location inventory and systems within company’s Global Control Standards. The incumbent will keep accurate records of finished goods transported in and out of the facility for sales delivery or distribution to another warehouse. He/she will receive finished goods into inventory and maintains appropriate records.

The position is responsible for primary shipping/receiving, inventory and housekeeping duties. Must complete Forklift / MHE Driving Skills test (if applicable). Maintain & support WMS system & train & support team members.

Position requires ability to climb onto trailers and route trucks, reaching and pushing cases weighing 20-50 pounds continuously. Position often operates independently with minimal supervision.


  • Responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all customers and carriers
  • Utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) responsible for assignment of dock time for trucks to be loaded/unloaded within the standard industry set guidelines
  • Responsible for accuracy of all paperwork, shipments, and receipts
  • Responsible for assignments of all team associates, which include housekeeping duties, loading/unloading of trucks, stenciling, order staging row consolidation, storage locations, pick area replenishment, and other assignments as necessary
  • Start / Stop production work orders to prevent production downtime
  • Complete cycle / audit counts to keep warehouse inventory and locations accurate
  • Maintain the correct amount of work in the work queue to support the amount of employees and work to be completed in a day



  • 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)
  • Read and write English
  • Lift 50 lbs. on a continuous basis
  • Able to work all hours/shifts needed including some weekends and be available for overtime when needed
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Exhibit Advanced WMS Skills (6 months of experience minimum) including:
  • Checking in and out trailers
  • Researching orders
  • Troubleshooting system related problems
  • Possess and maintain strong customer service skills in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Provide great customer service to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Actively support team concepts
  • Effectively communicate with team members
  • Handle several tasks at the same time
  • Show attention to detail
  • Organize, coach and direct the activities of the team
  • Use a computer and hand–held radio
  • Train other team members
  • Operate a forklift (prior experience is preferred)
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Basic understanding NIS / WMS interaction will be a plus
