- The Quality Assurance Scientist will collaborate with R&D Measurement Sciences and AMENA/GCR Foods Operations partners to validate and lead the deployment of new methods/calibrations, coordinate proficiency testing with QC field, support in troubleshooting of issues as they arise concerning method or analytical equipment performance, and support capability training in the region. The QA Scientist will also be responsible for collaborating with R&D Analytical Sciences and Global QA Sciences on core quality foods analysis on innovation snacks and food products and leverage the information as methods are deployed. This position sits within our Shanghai Measurement Sciences team.

- Work with R&D Measurement Sciences to effectively deploy Foods Analytical methods to AMENA/GCR Operations team
- Collaborate with cross functional partners and global training group to ensure proper training criteria and materials are aligned with best practice and is properly conveyed to operations
- Coordinate proficiency testing with AMENA/QC food plants and ensure adequate follow-up to the results
- Provide troubleshooting support when required to address issues in methods post rollout and work with team to elevate issues accordingly
- Participate in the review, validation and deployment of new methods
- Develop and/or deploy calibrations when necessary to field on new and existing product updates
- Effectively communicate and deploy new methods to AMENA/GCR food plants
- Provide support on new analytical equipment deployment to AMENA/GCR QC sites
- Provide technical support on analytical methods and field issue support on analytical equipment
- Build and maintain the community of AMENA/GCR sites

- BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, ore related discipline with a minimum of 4 years work experience in analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Ability to think and act on their own, while communicating needs and results appropriately
- Ability to analyze and interpret data

- BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, ore related discipline with a minimum of 4 years work experience in analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Experience in foods preferred
- Flexible regarding priority changes
- Good organization, time management, and teamwork skills
- Strong communication skills working with different stakeholders/interfaces
- Computer Skill: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, etc.
- English communication skill: verbal and written
