Job Description

PepsiCo ESSA (Europe & Sub-Saharan Africa) organisation is looking for a Creative Director to lead the creative vision and execution within the internal agency. This role will be our creative guardian, helping to translate the objectives and goals of the business and inspire the team to develop breakthrough creative for a variety of brands such as Walkers, PepsiMax, Sunbites and Naked.

Your responsibilities will include;

Creatively directs, manages and oversees internal digital and social work
Ensures the integration of human insights, media performance analytics and creative best practices is embedded into the creative process
Manages a team of creative in the development and execution of digital and social content across brands,
Helps to build out an “in-house” team of digital and social creative experts that will be responsible for executing creative vision across multiple brands,
Develops expertise against a specific brand priority., brand drive or business category
Provides constructive feedback and approvals on designers projects
Maintains brand consistency
Helps identify ways to run the department more efficiently
Creative budget management

Qualifications/Requirements

What we are looking for?

Experience in creative agency, ideally as creative director or art director
Strategic thinking
Act as a creative shepherd having proven experience in managing, developing and inspiring creatives
Big picture couples with results orientation
Ability to influence, tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages and present in a visual and compelling way
Ability to build compelling narratives around brands’ purpose and translating that into action that builds business
Proven ability to articulate goals clearly and objectives and effectively elevate strategic concerts to senior-level management in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to work cooperatively with staff, share ideas and develop effective responses
Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and geographies
Concepting skills
Submits work free of errors
Deep understanding of human psychology and social media
Creative leader experienced in translating a brand key to a social tone of voice and digital content pillars
Proficiency with the Adobe creative suite
Creative experience with broad brand marketing capabilities in CPG and other categories
Experience in marketing, innovation, and activating consumer insights
Strong consumer empathy and consumer-centricity
Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything
Proven collaboration abilities between internal brand teams and partner agencies
The ability to work autonomously
The ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes and prioritize team workload
Understanding of basic software: Adobe Illustrator, photo and InDesign

Contributes to success but not mandatory:
Working knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects and Premiere a plus
Preferable to have design skills and capabilities
