This is a global role requiring the ability to understand details while also being aware of global objectives and the PICT framework. This position has the potential to interact with resources across multiple functions and geographies which requires strong communication skills and ability to comprehend broad and at times ambiguous objectives.

The Global IT Controls & Reporting Senior Associate position is intended to support coordination of IT reporting of global ITGC (IT General Controls) and other controller communications. The primary objective of this role is to sustain the global system administration of the IT Sector of GCS Portal, PepsiCo’s global control reporting application. Leveraging the data within GCS Portal, this role will perform global controls analysis and reporting (e.g., trends by process, entity, bright spots and hot spots). This role requires high level of interaction with all global sectors to influence others and define reporting objectives. This role will also interact with the GCS Portal technical team to evaluate changes, drive improvement and ensure operational sustainability.

More specifically the candidate will be contribute to the following:

  1. Manage the administration of the IT Sector of GCS Portal, the global control testing repository, including overseeing user functionality, developing new functionality and capabilities to support internal reporting needs, maintaining files and working with GCS Portal technical teams to troubleshoot as necessary
  2. Define and drive effective the quarterly reporting process performed by global stakeholders (i.e., IT Sector Lead, Control Owners, Process Owners, etc.). Assist IT Leads to monitor completion rates and accuracy of submitted data in GCS Portal
  3. Develop value-added, relevant and accurate global reporting to support management information needs (i.e., IT Global Scorecards)
  4. Data analytics of global controls data to identify opportunities for improvement, including gaps and opportunities for harmonization and rationalization
  5. Perform ad-hoc controls analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or IT related topics
  • 3+ years’ experience in any two the following areas; audit, control with an IT processes
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to evaluate data for trends and prepare key management reporting
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multiple organizations, sectors and teams
  • Willing/"can do" attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with strong influence and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter who demonstrates leadership potential and takes initiative
  • Ability to navigate through PepsiCo matrixed organization
  • Understanding of the key principals behind Global Control Standard (GCS), COSO and COBIT and application of those principals to business process (preferred not required)Basic Qualifications:
