What does the role involve?

PepsiCo BeLux is looking for an enthusiastic trilingual Communications intern to join the PPGA & Communications department for a period of 6 months starting from February 2020. As an Intern Internal Communications you will support the Corporate Communication department in developing and conducting internal communications about the Benelux Business Unit in the broadest sense of the word.

As an intern you have the following responsibilities:

  • You will contribute to various activities of the Benelux Communication team supported by the Internal Communications Advisor Benelux

  • You will have the opportunity to maintain the intranet, to draft our internal PepTalk magazine and our weekly digital newsletter.

  • You will support the team in organizing various internal events and meetings (for example: monthly staff meetings, internal fundraising and volunteering activities, etc.)

  • You will draft internal communications, presentations and templates via multiple channels

  • You will support the team in creating internal awareness campaigns on various topics and events

  • You will translate various communications into Dutch, French or English

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, is ambitious and result focused and has strong communication skills. So if you are someone who:

  • is a Bachelor’s or Master’s student or graduated (max. 3 months) oriented towards Translation & Interpreting, Literature & Languages or Communications;

  • has the ability to think outside the box for various projects;

  • can bring ideas to life – by the way of good communication and team work;

  • can confidently take initiative and start your own projects, being organized throughout the process and have a result-oriented focus;

  • is proactive and has a hands-on, positive mentality;

  • is detailed oriented and likes to work on various projects in a structured way;

  • likes to translate communications in various languages;

  • preferably has a driver’s license;

  • is used to navigate and work in a digital environment – you have genuine interest in how the company operates in this area and are keen on keeping track of the latest developments in the world of digitalization;

  • is fluent in Dutch, French and English;
