The PNBA Insights & Analytics team is looking for stellar insights and analytics manager to lead our dynamic Mountain Dew AMP and Mountain Dew AMP Game Fuel energy agenda, as well as the Mountain Dew innovation pipeline. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute energy learning agenda from the Mountain Dew AMP Energy strategy, leveraging, but not limited to, the following techniques:
    • Deep application and iteration of consumer energy segmentation and consumer empathy around energy consumers and gamers
    • Innovation testing
    • Packaging testing
    • Commercial application (conjoint tests, etc)
    • IRi and other big data set analytics
    • Quick-turn consumer survey design
    • Communications testing (qual and quant)
  2. Lead and execute our innovation pipeline, from white space territory identification and early idea concept testing to new product execution. Familiarity with BASES testing is a plus
    • White space identification
    • Early-stage concept testing
    • BASES Snapshot through BASES II
    • Conjoint testing
    • Data mining from social media tools and attribute-based ingredient studies
  3. Monitor and diagnose brand and category business needs
  4. Leverage syndicated data sources to understand business issues and opportunities within the energy category
  5. Understanding of IRi or Nielsen a plus


The successful candidate will have the following traits:

  • Great team player; willing to both lead an agenda and roll up her/his sleeves to support when needed
  • Excellent communicator with a bias toward simplicity. In this role, it’s critical to bring marketing partners and Director of I&A along, while also simplifying complex data into easy to understand, clear recommendations with immediate application to the business
  • Experience with a broad range of qualitative, quantitative and syndicated data sets
  • Natural curiosity about people and deep human empathy
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem solver
  • Experience managing research partners and vendors on time and on budget
  • Ability to thrive in a lightning-fast environment where instructions may be ambiguous
  • Minimum 6 years in a strategic insights role; 2+ years in CPG company preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree preferred
