Job Description

This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by ensuring the overall quality of ingredients and finished products in accordance with Company Standards to uphold trademark integrity. The QC Coordinator is responsible for assisting the QC team, including management and technicians,

  • Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: In addition to normal duties of a lab tech, the coordinator will also:
    • Maintain, PM and calibrate lab and water room equipment and on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis; Troubleshoot bench top and in-line equipment; Rotate and inventory lab chemicals; Order and pay for chemicals and consumables for the lab, syrup room and micro lab; Organize and review paperwork; Order and pay for CO2 and N2 orders; Write SOPs and Work Aides for lab techs and filler operators; Train new lab techs in all lab testing and flavor changeovers and current techs in new procedures and equipment; Complete Internal Audits; Manage holds
    • Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices with regards to micro/sanitation, and pest control chemicals
    • Demonstrates a working knowledge of production equipment (processing and packaging equipment) and its' related impact on overall quality
    • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments


Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and influence management skills

  • Incumbent must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while also completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekend

  • Qualifications/Requirements Education and Certifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years prior experience preferably in a high speed manufacturing environment Bachelor’s Degree a plus
