As an Infrastructure Lead you will lead, design, build and manage Pepsico eCommerce Infrastructure used by all of the eCommerce projects. You will work very closely with data engineers, data scientists, full-stack engineers to build and improve cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Support of production infrastructure on AWS such as EC2, S3, IAM, ElasticCache, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, ECR, Kinesis, SQS etc
  • Develop and improve our CI / CD pipelines that enforce proper versioning and branching practices using various technologies such as Argo CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform etc
  • Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
  • Build expertise and leverage state-of-the-art DevOps tools and managed services from cloud vendors to monitor and ensure performance, reliability, and security to meet our target SLA
  • Site reliability and availability, including end-to-end performance, service monitoring, alerting, capacity sizing and planning, optimizing compute resources for various projects
  • Production and DevOps support for the various services and applications in Erlang / Elixir, Python, Java etc
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the engineering team to streamline code deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering / IT / business teams to improve the company’s engineering /DevOps tools, systems and procedures, and data security
  • Manage Role-based Access Control for various infra tools including AWS, Snowflake etc

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM-related area
  • 7+ years experience as an Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering field
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and scripting (shell scripts, Perl, python, ruby etc)
  • At least 3+ years in managing cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker
  • Expert in CI / CD and other DevOps tools (Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Argo etc)
  • Experience in monitoring tools such as Graphana, Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, Nagios etc
  • Experience in the network, server, DNS and load balancers
  • Experience in working with database technologies such as SQL / no-SQL, database scalability and availability with PostgreSQL, Redshift, Redis, Snowflake etc
  • Experience in data protection and security especially protecting PII data
  • Capable of making timely decisions while dealing with uncertainties & inadequate information
  • Communicate to multiple levels of management within the organization as well as business/engineering partner
  • Self-starter, strong sense of ownership, gets things done
