Job Description

  • Builds solid shopper and customer understanding and foundations, and them to main stakeholders for strategic and operational recommendations – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Drive continuous evaluation of retail trends to identify growth opportunities, to build PepsiCo Romania competitive advantage; provides valuable and relevant input to Sales and Shopper Marketing teams - executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Preparing monthly standardized decks/reports by customers using Nielsen KAD in order to ensure full market understanding and visibility for stakeholders teams; Manage daily data requests at channel / KA level – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Focus on building presentation to deploy HHP KPIs for stakeholders Teams – executing actions
  • Support BP in building shopper ACP decks for better channel/retailer understanding – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Customer specific analytics with usage of customer specific data (sell-out, Loyalty Card) and integrate with Nielsen KAD / trends – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Continuously use and extract updates and info from multiple data sources (Kantar, Planet Retail, EuroMonitor, GfK Fast Moving Trends, Nielsen Shopper Trends etc) – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Supporting shopper manager in preparing all material needed for market researches (briefs, quotations, connection with agency, questionnaires) – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Assure administrative work in order to maintain good track of projects and budgets (contracts, POs) – executing actions
  • Leads training program on the effective use of Shopper Insights tools and results to drive capability of Shopper insight understanding in the company – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • Support Category Vision implementation w/n MU and at customer level working closely with Shopper Insights Manager – executing actions, provide consultancy
  • According to internal standards and procedures manages resources effectively to deliver strong business results, leads contract negotiations and maintains winning relationships with Research Institutes to ensure Company’s interests are in place at the most beneficial level. Involves Research Institutes in internal workshops making them a strategic business partner to drive the highest level of quality and cost efficiency; utilizes best practice expertise – executing actions, provide consultancy

Qualifications/Requirements

  • University degree, preferred Master Degree in Marketing/ Economics
  • Minimum of 5 years Market Research experience in a leading FMCG company and/or Agency (ideally, on both client and agency sides) with both Market and Shopper Research background; Experience in Sales Operations \\ Trade Mktg \\ Retail also preferable
  • Knowledge and practical experience with a wide scope of research methodologies and techniques (qual&quant)
  • Understanding of analytical tools and Knowledge of statistics
  • Fluent English
  • MS Office – advanced user (PowerPoint, Excel)
