Job Description

Drive concentrate importation process including customs (VEPs, DJAI's), responsible for local and Int'l Purchase Order, invoices payment cycle, Supply Chain I&W Compliance tasks (SOX), transport between supplier and customs and flow between Customs WH and Pepsico WH.
Demand Planning process for concentrate and finish goods according to demand and lead time, controlling DII levels and write-off avoidance.
Supervise Inventory Management (Inbound/outbound, SAP inbound and outbound).
Control legal docs from PGCS (Certificates of analysis, Invoices ) to ensure local legal requirements;
Invoices payment cycle;
Key contact between bottler, local Warehouse and PGCS
Monitor Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia PO's and Forecast.


  • Demand Planning:
    • Lead the forecasting process with Bottler, Franchise and Finance areas:
      • 6 months rolling forecast should be sent to PGCS every month. Month 1 to Month 3 can't change and PGCS accepts only +/- 25% variation due to raw material availability.
      • Forecast should attend bottler production demand, Finance forecast to achieve revenue targets and Franchise sales targets.
    • Measure and influence the bottlers KPI's:
      • Forecast accuracy
      • % of Good Forecast
      • BIAS
      • Days of Inventory
      • Monthly action plan
    • Purchase Order Operation: monthly cycle
      • Receive the bottler's concentrate Purchase Order in full kits
      • Convert bottlers full kits purchase Order into components levels
      • Coordinate with PGCS production dates and quantities, importation documents and shipping dates on time
      • Coordinate with Trading Company Fiscal DC storage, concentrate clearance, truck load/shipping and Distribution Center delivery
      • Issue Purchase Orders into excel file and SAP system and submit for proper Managers and Directors approvals
    • Management of concentrate obsolescence minimization
  • Importation Process:
    • Control the importation process to ensure the correct product flow from PGCS Colonia to PepsiCo warehouse in Argentina and to the bottlers in Bolívia, Paraguay and Uruguay;
    • Follow up on changing regulations, taxes & legal. Develop solutions with Legal, Regulatory and Tax Departments to assure business continuity.
    • Follow up customs regulations, taxes & legal, SENASA/INAL regulation.
    • Key contact with custom broker in order to optimize the importation process and apply Government requirements.
    • Follow up customs regulations, taxes & legal, INAL regulation
    • Monthly update the customs clearance report to ensure the correct cost assignment
    • Report profit elimination: stock on hand, in transit, monthly receptions, sales and obsolescence
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inbound and outbound from PepsiCo Warehouses in Chile and Argentina.
  • Weekly audit concentrate inventories at warehouse
  • Weekly report to finance: Invoices report, DJAI status,
  • Weekly report to bottlers: inventory status by kit, obsolescence, open order from PGCS
  • Support Finance closing by reporting Stocks, revenue, credit/debits notes, in transit, and open order reports
  • Monitor the bottlers concentrate Purchase Orders fulfillment with PGCS
  • Supervise and control our local custom broker in order to guarantee the fluent importation process and concentrate sourcing.
  • Actively participate in Argentina , Chile and Paraguay SAP implementation,
  • Responsible for picking and invoicing in Argentina and Chile
  • Ensure timely Invoices to Bottlers,
  • Supervise the warehouse operation to achieve the goals defined for service, costs, and quality.
  • Create credit and debits notes to business requirements aligned with Controller Manager



  • University Degree, working experience in Logistics, Foreign trade, International business, Business Admin
  • Ability to communicate well with senior management, peers and bottlers management staff,
  • Strong Negotiation skills,
  • Multi-culture interacting capabilities,
  • Independent decision Making and judgment,
  • Fluent in Spanish and advanced level of English (Portuguese desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • SAP experience,
