PepsiCo Foods Canada – Merchandising Manager

Description:
Accountable for staffing, coaching, training, and motivating a team of full-time Customer Service Specialists to ensure effective execution of all merchandising standards, marketing programs, ordering and service requirements. Ensure effective communications are in place between all large format team members including the SDSL, CDMs, CSCs, CSS and PT CSS. Reports to SDSL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff, coach, train, and motivate FT CSS team
  • Conduct one-with-one meetings with CSSs
  • Conduct “work-withs” and coaching sessions with CSSs
  • Implement all sales, marketing, merchandising and personnel programs through effective communication with CSSs
  • Conduct business reviews with key decision makers
  • Maintain business control requirements including inventory and sales reporting accuracy
  • Leading Team Communication (ie Weekly Team Calls)

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends and holidays
  • Experience in a DSD retail environment preferred
  • Ability to travel and a valid driver’s license
