Job Description



  • Collaborates with Global Release Planning function to align on and slot global initiatives onto sector release calendars

  • Coordinates the assigned sector release calendar and provides input to GDP Sr. Director for inclusion in global release calendar

  • Drive and deliver Global dashboarding strategy and execution

  • Drive and execute Global Training Calendar and reporting

  • Rollout and adoption of new global tools in AMENA Sector


  • Owns, defines, coordinates and improves change and release management processes

  • Drives and coordinates release and change management activities, governance, change requests, calendars and delivery schedules at the organizational level

  • Plans program and release reviews and change approvals, performing exception management and resolving escalations

  • Manages the communication of risks, impacts and potential conflicts of change for the planned releases

  • Manages and ensures adherence to service management standards

  • Oversees reporting to track metrics on release compliance and quality (e.g., facilitating adherence to the guardrails for stage gates)

  • Reviews and oversees the alignment of application, infrastructure, upgrade, and license roadmaps

  • Assesses progress against prior year IGP, consulting on whether to close down or invest more in “inflight” AOP activities

  • Manages the project prioritization discussion across divisions and IT; developing program calendars, plan releases for the year.

  • Oversees cross-division or cross-function prioritization and sequencing, pre-slotting projects to enterprise release calendar

  • Establishes freezes and gains alignment on outages; locking the enterprise release calendar change windows

  • Manages the review of programs and status of each release, re-slotting projects as necessary, and tracking and monitoring of the status of the program release plan delive


Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 10+ years of SAP project and sustain experience with focus on ITIL tools & processes

  • 10+ years of related IT business work experience, experience managing a team

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
