About the Job: As part of the Learning CoE this job requires someone who develop strong business relationships, set the learning strategy, define and optimize team deliverables, and partner with TM, HRBPs and Learning CoE colleagues to develop and deliver courses and programs to sustain PepsiCo’s talent advantage.

The Learning and Development Senior Manager will be an integral member of the PepsiCo University team, with the following responsibilities:

  • Lead learning strategy to build and sustain talent advantage
  • Collaborate with Talent Management and HR leadership team to integrate learning strategy with broader Human Capital strategy
  • Partner directly with senior business leaders to understand capability needs and develop optimal solutions
  • Engage business leaders as sponsors and SMEs to champion and deliver the learning agenda
  • Lead AOP process with business and HR input, socializing and gaining alignment from all key stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership as member of the extended functional HR team
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in the learning and development space
  • Market learning priorities to target audiences
  • Identity opportunities to further engage and communicate with learner audience through presentations and various channels of communications
  • Measure learning outcomes
  • Partner with clients in project scoping and vendor selection
  • Optimize vendor relationships in terms of budget and end deliverables
  • Provide oversight to team leading development and delivery of courses and programs
  • Enable leaders to demonstrate and reinforce the lifelong learning culture
  • Validate and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of new and existing training and development programs to ensure that capability priorities are being achieved for the function
  • Provide thought leadership on metrics and reporting approach, including gaining stakeholder buy-in on shared learning objectives
  • Participate in HR staff meetings to keep up with HR agenda and represent the learning agenda
  • Lead the team ensuring clear priorities, effective collaboration and accountability for results
  • Develop the team to engage, increase capability, and further career success

Minimum Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent client relationship skills, including senior leader stakeholder management
  • People leadership
  • Strict attention to detail, excellent organization skills, ability to balance numerous tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of HR Systems and/or Learning Management systems preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize and communicate complex information
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (including senior leader presentations)
  • Project management skills, with ability to work on a variety of tasks and manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Word skills
Qualifications:
  • Education in Training and Development, HR Management, Organizational Psychology or other related field (Masters or PhD preferred)
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future, U.S. Citizen
