Main Purpose of the Role:

The eCommerce Account Support Manager manages the Amazon Account. Amazon is mainly a self-service platform, you will be their first point of contact for all daily operational tasks. Reporting to the eCommerce Account Manager, you will support on several subjects like promotional coordination, financial analysis, internal- and external reporting, listing of products and setting up marketing campaigns. Together with the eCommerce Account Manager it is your responsibility to help drive growth at Amazon. Strong alignment with ESSA and other key markets (UK, DE) is key in this role.
Amazon will launch their NL platform in Q1 2020 and PepsiCo wants to be a first mover. You’ll learn about working directly with a data-driven company and the marketing/sales opportunities that Amazon offers as a marketplace for brands. You work in a complex environment where commercial talent, communication skills, entrepreneurship and perseverance are essential success factors.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver a perfect setup of the PepsiCo Amazon Account.

  • Looking for opportunities and taking initiatives to develop growth at Amazon.

  • Execute daily operations such as PO Management, New Product Listings, Content Optimization, Finance, Performance Reporting, Marketing, Communication with Amazon.

  • Promotional coordination: build a solid online promo plan according to category and Sales guidelines, plan promotions together with the eCommerce Account Manager and agree overall planning within the broader customer environment of the other Customer teams.

  • Set up strong marketing campaigns together with ESSA. Delivery of promotional materials (e.g. banners) required for the execution of the campaigns.

  • Deliver a continuous analysis of our promo program by delivering insights how to further improve the promo efficiency at our customers.

  • Deliver a continuous analysis of our marketing campaigns and optimize where needed to drive ROI.

  • Capability building of sales, marketing, catman and insights, by evangelizing eCommerce/Digital and taking part in training sessions/workshops etc. growing these teams’ eCommerce knowledge and skills.

  • Provide information like revenue overviews, product- and price information, delivery performance, information of competitors.

  • Improve the body of eCommerce marketing knowledge of the BU & ESSA teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

Profile

  • Academic level business administration / business economics
  • ½ - 2 years’ experience in a commercial environment (starter role/second job)
  • Commercial capabilities (time management, communication)
  • Analytical skills (promo analysis and insights generation)
  • Fluent in English spoken and written, additionally Dutch is a strong preference
  • Independent, result oriented, analytical and ambitious
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, able to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Good communicator and empathetic listener (dealing directly with customers, working cross functionally)
