Job Description

Global Business Services (GBS) organization has been established to provide efficient and effective services to PepsiCo businesses globally, for all sectors. To enable this purpose, GBS requires a Transformation and PMO team to own the Transition Methodology and Playbook of work transitioning from sectors to the GBS locations. Global Transformation PMO Sr Manager will be responsible for managing, training, and optimizing the Transition Methodology, Playbook, and templates and oversee all global transitions for the successful delivery on time and within budget.

In this role you will perform all project management responsibilities for global transitions, including: reporting to GBS leadership, coordinating with BSC and sector transformation leadership; manage interdependencies for transition including recruiting, change management and communications, IT, and control; performing quality assurance and risk mitigation for tranisiton management involving over 1500 FTE+ for 2020.

The scope of the role is global with special emphasis on Hyderabad, Krakow, and Mexico business service centers.

Accountabilities:

General transition management

  • Develop portfolio management approach and governance to oversee all transitions across all BSCs
  • Develop and manage Transition Methodology, playbook, and templates and project management tools to track and report on functional transitions of work
  • Manage migration plan across all BSCs and approve change requests for delegated authority
  • Develop and maintain risks and issues log to mitigate transition risks. Develop mitigation and intervention plans when necessary
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder registers and resourcing plans
  • Bring industry best practices in GBS transition approach
Communications and stakeholder management
  • Drive the agenda to ensure teams are on track to deliver milestones and savings, and intervene/escalate as necessary to address roadblocks
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with BSC transition teams to review status and challenge transition assumptions
  • Conduct relationship management with over 25+ transition team stakeholders and 12+ global stakeholders across every function and sector, in addition to external consulting partners
Transformation
  • Apply critical thinking and relevant project management methodologies to perform root cause analysis and drive action plans for resolutions and intended outcomes
  • Perform strategic and data analysis to offer business insights for senior leadership in decision-making
  • Create informative and impactful presentations that articulate vision, analytical results, and recommendations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Significant transition management experience for GBS/SSC in large scale global organizations is essential
  • Experience in broad transformational implementations or managing complex projects including global coordination
  • Proficient with MS Office – MS Excel and MS Power point in particular
  • 8-10 years of experience with strong project management background
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to handle meetings with stakeholders from around the globe
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams and achieve cross divisional alignment
  • Results oriented, adept in conflict resolution, skilled at prioritization and change management
  • Able to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Able to effectively work in a highly-matrixed organization, handling competing priorities and connecting the dots across
  • Ability to drive the agenda, influence, persuasive
  • Strong conceptual and process thinking
