Job Description

This role serves as the overall leadership and governance oversight for Control teams serving the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) deployment projects. The role’s main objective is to deliver a successful controls solution across the PGT deployments while ensuring consistency in approach and providing visibility through communication and alignment with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities related to the deployment project portfolio includes:

  • Overall delivery, escalation management and quality assurance for the PGT controls work streams
  • Ensuring the Controls agenda is represented and integrated into PGT design authority processes
  • CAPEX estimations, vendor account management and staff planning for all PGT projects
The position must also drive collaboration between the deployment Control teams, Information Security and existing IT Control and Sector/Market Control teams to ensure:
  • Consistent interpretation of the controls solution across the markets implementing PGT
  • PGT control solution increases the use of automated control techniques and is sustainable long-term
  • Control monitoring processes improve upon global leverage previously achieved with PIRT and One-Up SAP solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors in Business, Accounting, Finance or Information Systems
  • Previous Big 4, audit, and/or consulting experience
  • 10+ years of control, technology risk and/or finance experience
  • Working knowledge of basic SAP security & control concepts
  • Thorough understanding of SOX regulation requirements

  • Ability to build work plans and lead teams (vendor management and career development of associates)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in a multi-functional global and matrixed virtual environment
  • Ability to lead and manage team members through challenging projects with competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the PepsiCo Global Control Standard (GCS)
  • Strong understanding and aptitude for emerging technologies (e.g., RPA, Analytics, etc.)
  • Broad understanding of compliance, audit, IT controls, business controls and segregation of duties (SoD) activities
  • Ability to identify and propose technical solutions to meet automated control requirements
  • General understanding of key business process areas within the program (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Go-To-Market, etc.)
  • Openness to best practices and new approaches
  • Problem-solving and intellectual curiosity with a positive and resilient character
  • Business understanding and partnering skills with an ability to make difficult trade-off decisions
  • CISA, CISSP, CIA, PMP or other equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Strong skills in decision making and problem-solving
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills
  • Experience leading a global team
  • Track record of delivery too a high standard, respond with precision and accuracy and adhere to tight deadlines (preferred)
  • Adept knowledge and understanding of data analytics, including the SAP table hierarchy, extracting table data from SAP and managing data extraction and visualization tools (preferred)
  • Strong understanding and hands-on implementation experience with enterprise data analytic tools relating to governance, risk, and compliance such as SAP GRC (preferred)
  • Experience working with government regulatory entities to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements (preferred)
  • Appreciation for GDPR, data security, retention policies, schedule of authority and other compliance requirements to ensure “to be” process is compliant, monitoring is set up and will be effective (preferred)
