The new role will manage the Delivery and Development solutions of the ESSA Supply Chain in the value streams of Digital Make by:


  1. Being ESSA’s point of reference for functional expertise on Digital capabilities applicable to Manufacturing Make processes.
  2. Supporting BRMs and global Delivery Teams in the pursuit requests for new capabilities
  3. Gathering and analyzing new business requirements and move them to the Global D&D council
  4. Proactively seeks productivity improvements and implements the solutions that support business objectives
  1. Managing the ESSA projects in Digital Make aread providing all required information to EPMO to plan AoP
  2. Partnering with the BRMs, IT teams and the IT vendors to produce proposal estimates. Leading and organizing the required events (i.e. deep-dives) to obtain reliable estimates and achieving the validation to proceed with project execution


  1. Responsible to identify & mobilize all IT project resources and provide IT project schedule in alignment with business program leads
  2. Acting as hiring manager and following all vendor management processes related to external staffing (sign SoW, update vendor databases, update resource planning files, ensure onboarding is successful, approve time in PPM)
  3. Being accountable of the external delivery leads and the successful delivery of their projects by supporting them in navigating through the PepsiCo organization by providing “PepsiCo know-how”
  4. Leading projects on her/his own as appointed delivery lead up to project closure and handover to support organization
  5. Ensuring solutions’ quality and alignment with the Global Template directions, contributing with Global delivery team to ensure right governance
  6. Collaboration with global project / support teams in order to implement or maintain common Sector / Global solutions
  7. Management & coordination of sector / global and local IT teams for data integration between common sector / global systems and local systems*(If needed)
Project Management
  • Assign tasks to resources on a weekly basis, and follow up to ensure completion on time and with quality
  • Performs quality assurance on project deliverables
  • Ensures processes are implemented in the field as per the approved process documents
  • Prepare project status reports and keep the team, senior management and others informed of key project information and related risks, issues and changes
  • Manages project scope and changes/enhancements per phase to control the timeline & budget
  • Prepares and delivers monthly status updates to business team


Key Skills/Experience requires:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience implementing MES solutions (Manufacturing Execution Systems), especially GE Proficy.
  2. Expertise on other MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and shop-floor tools solutions are nice to have (LineView, ThingWorx, LineView, Rockwell)
  3. Knowledge of Manufacturing & Production processes, especially on Consumer Goods industry
  4. Knowledge of integration points with technical infrastructure and local plant engineering & control systems
  5. Experience with integration of MES solutions with other systems (ERP systems)
  6. Experience with SQL databases like MS SQL or Oracle is nice to have
  7. Experience on design & deployment (3+ full lifecycle projects)
  8. Past experience in working on sector & global environments
  9. Past experience of SAP ECC is a plus (PP area)
  10. Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
