PepsiCo is now on the lookout for a Senior Manager Supply Chain to join our team based in the Global HQ in Cork on a permanent basis.

We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutritionand Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi.We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands.We are a global organisation, situated in 13 locations across 9 countries offering careers in various functions from Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, R&D, HR and IT.We want team members who can collaborate in our fast paced global organisation and are passionate about creating and delivering much-loved household brands to markets across the world.

Role Summary
This role is responsible for leading PGCS Supply Planning effectiveness, efficiency and consistency globally; ensuring the tools, systems, training and processes are in place to deliver value to the business and reflect best practice methodologies. This role will also be responsible for engaging with senior internal stakeholders, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring appropriate reporting and support are in place as well as leading transformational and global change programs.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Lead development of best practice Supply Planning processes across the Supply Chain organisation and ensure that standardised systems, processes, tools and training are in place
  • Ensure effective delivery of a standardised suite of Supply Planning policies, ensuring a balance between cost and risk across the portfolio. Manage compliance to policy across the Supply Chain and wider business
  • Lead the program and project management of Strategic initiatives, and the delivery of Strategic Source Change initiatives
  • Overall Governance of Supply Chain internal operational metrics – eg Productivity, Reserves, Inbound Freight, 3rd party supply
  • Supply Chain Business Partner for in-market manufacturing sites, ensuring Global Best practices are adopted as well as serving as the escalation point for any operational issues
  • Drive the agenda and meeting cadence for the Global SC Operations Team and the Global SC Leadership Team
  • Lead the Investigation and resolution of any L1 incidents across the Global Supply Chains
  • Perform other duties as required from time to time
  • Comply with all PepsiCo Health & Safety standards and requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent
  • Experience in an international, multi-market, multi-site Supply Chain and deep functional understanding of Supply chain activities and their interdependencies with activities of other functions, notably Finance and manufacturing
  • Expert ability to read and interpret data-led information
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to get things done both up and across the organization
  • Demonstrated business planning capability, able to understand the impact the Supply Chain Operations team will have to the Supply Chain and make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated Program and project management capability; developing and tracking project execution plans, risk & issue management & course correction, develop stakeholder communication plans and drive stakeholder engagement activities; program and project governance, status reporting and communication
  • Expert risk management skills, with ability to cultivate a culture of carrying out risk management within PGCS Supply Chain team and wider Supply Chain
  • Proven ability to identify and implement best practice systems and process and drive the Supply Chain execution team to deploy it
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and understanding of PepsiCo manufacturing asset base, product portfolio and customer base
  • Ability to move seamlessly from very high level strategy to detailed executional implications
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to get things done both up and across the organization
  • Proven ability to manage business complexity and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence and align teams in a matrix and virtual environment
  • Strong analytical skills, complimented by strong soft / relationship management skills
