Job Description

  • The IT AMENA GTM Project delivery lead is a project specific role to drive the tactical delivery of the functional & technical portions of the GTM Upgrade project for AMENA encompassing all markets.

  • This role will focus on project and integration management of IT delivery for the entire duration of the project from preparation through hypercare spanning around 3 years.

  • This role will manage and lead the project delivery of the functionalities of Newspage, SAP, related technologies, in partnership with multiple internal IT teams and external partners.

  • This role will partner heavily with internal teams within Delivery, DMO, BRM, CTO, OPS, ISG to drive delivery of this heavily integrated solution and managing highly matrixed team through influence.

    1. Accountabilities

    • Partners with BRM, Project Business leaders, GTM program team and IT leaders to define project roadmaps and drives the project to the Project Plan.

    • Identify and track functional and technical requirements for the GTM solution, ensuring alignment with global standards / processes and driving common solutions across markets.

    • Develop, maintain and align with Business Process Owner (BPO), a detailed work breakdown structure of tasks required to complete all technical phases of project.

    • Engages with Newspage Partner, SAP Teams (Functional & Technical), Enterprise Integration teams, for delivery, process governance, and ensures adherence to global standards.

    • Understand complex technical requirements and provide innovative solutions, determine if solution meets requirements, surface issues thru the design, build and test lifecycles appropriately through proper project governance and escalation methodology.

    • Ensure the systems will be tested through various testing cycles and deliver a robust system with high user satisfication.

    • Ensure IT processes and teams are in place for sustaining solution post hypercare and manage hypercare by driving detailed engagement in resolution of Priority issues (critical business impact) and successfully transitioning the work into Sustain.

    • Assume accountablility for building and transferring knowledge of solution to IT operations teams and ensure the systems are transitioned to production using a proper plan and following the principles of IT OPS release and change governance mechanisms.

    • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required (MBA/Masters, PMP)

    • 10+ years of IT project management experience in a global setting

    • 10+ years of related IT business work experience in GTM related field

    • Newspage knowledge, project and governance experience

    • SAP PIRT knowledge and governance experience

    • Executing formal project management methodologies (People, Process, Information, and Technology) and the Project Management Lifecycle

    • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers / partners, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

    • Solves highly complex, politically sensitive problems across teams

    • Strong financial management experience with proven ability to manage project budgets

    • Strong management skills with the ability to develop matrix teams and cultivate talent

    • Independently track progress on team activities and direct corrective action in the event that tasks fall behind schedule; escalates issues appropriately

Qualifications/Requirements
