Job Description

The Financial Reporting Director is primarily responsible for reporting FLNA financial results to PepsiCo and ensuring the timely and accurate close of General Ledger.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate a consolidated line of business results
  • Prepare and review period, quarterly and annual PepsiCo reporting schedules
  • Review accounting issues and financial results with PepsiCo and External Auditors
  • Plan and forecast Cash Flow reporting for FLNA
  • Collaborate with the IT organization on all system initiatives impacting the financial close
  • Manage and optimize the Close Process
  • Coordinate quarterly balance sheet reviews of all significant accounts and timely resolution of issues
  • Review income tax accounting and reporting
  • Ensure SOX compliance in areas of responsibilities
  • Ensure proper reporting and accounting for JV entities
  • Manage Org Health improvements for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Coach/develop/mentor team members

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required; CPA Required
  • Big 4 Public Accounting required
  • 7+ years of accounting/public accounting experience
  • Previous supervisory experience and strong working knowledge of business processes and controls
  • Ability to identify business issues and generate solutions
  • Self-starter with attention to details
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence others at all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities, multi-task and ensure deadlines are met
