Main Purpose

The position is responsible to support contract manufacturing GP agenda across APAC to drive MWBs as healthier growth, specially Nutrition business, and Snacks Projects. Responsibilities include sourcing the right business partners and negotiating the contracts at the most competitive prices, while ensuring PepsiCo’s competitiveness in APAC, compliance to its Operating Policies/Procedures and Public Commitments and building sustainable sourcing partnerships.


  • Support and lead Regional Co-Man agenda for Nutrition & Snacks Innovation Projects in Asia Pacific
  • Identify Co-manufacturers, support supplier selection and negotiate contracts at the competitive prices while ensuring PepsiCo competitive edge.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders, R&D, Category, Quality and Supply Chain teams, lead qualification of Co-Man suppliers, development of products and commercialization of Innovation Projects or new materials (ingredients or packaging)
  • Drive productivity & cash flow improvement agenda by engaging cross-functional teams and the co-man suppliers in identifying efficiency opportunities
  • Ensure continuity of supplies by having Business Continue Plans in place
  • Engage GP COE Direct Category leads in perform material sourcing, arrange competitive biding, and conduct comparative analysis
  • As needed, create and Issue purchase order and maintain all the purchasing documents
  • Develop efficient supply chain to support GTM, while ensuring product quality and availability for the customer markets, according to production targets provided by Planning on monthly basis
  • Lead supplier development and evaluation agenda to improve performance of Co-manufacturers; develop and maintain Co-man performance review system and relevant KPIs for dashboard monitoring
  • Update material prices and rate lists and maintain contracts (validity, accuracy, complete compliance) and records
  • Lead PepsiCo Sustainability Agenda and deliver the needs of designated programs
  • Support evaluation of P2P process in coordination with Controls
  • Lead and support any other special assignments related to CoManufacturers or innovation commercialization
  • Conduct market and supplier visits to develop relationship with suppliers, stakeholders and to provide guidance for improvement
  • Share best practices with cross-functional teams within the Region or across markets
  • Develop self-learning programs, attend relevant traning for continuos improvement of knowledge to develop subject matter expert skills in managing the required tasks and projects
  • Participate in driving Enviromental and Organizational Health and Safety within the work environment and at Co-manufacturers


Key Skills/Experience Required

  • 5+ years of Procurement / Sourcing / Supply Chain Commercialization experience in FMCG or Food & Beverage Manufacturing, preferably in Procurement of Manufacturing Outsourcing; including 2 years in Supervisory role
  • Working with Co manufacturers/ 3rd party manufacturers in a Food FMCG Company in a commercial role is necessary for this position
  • Proven technical procurement category knowledge to ensure the continued adoption and use of best practices
  • Bachelor’s degrees in Business or Engineering. Master’s degree preferred; CIPSA or CPIM qualification is desirable
  • Proven influencing skills to positively impact complex negotiations
  • Excellent balance of analytical & negotiation skills
  • Beverage & Food direct materials sourcing experience is preferred
  • Contract writing / risk analysis / liabilities and indemnities / SLA’s / and general commercial terms
  • Sound understanding of SAP and P2P Governance and Controls
  • Experience in using advanced sourcing methodologies/ tools
  • Computer skills: Advance Excel skills, ERP knowledge specially SAP MM module is desired
  • Advanced analytical skills to drive Sourcing and Supply Chain strategy execution and ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and find actionable solutions
  • Good understanding of procurement systems – spend visibility, contract management, spend capture tools
  • Experience in sourcing strategy development is a plus
