Job Description

Assistant Brand Manager works under the supervision of the Brand Manager who has certain key responsibilities to perform that help the brand manager as well as the organization. They help to define and to execute the brand’s launch plans both new product development and reframe/refresh projects, flawless communication plans (ATL / BTL), packaging, trade merchandising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly. An assistant is required to analyze data, present projections to the brand manager and develop suggestions on how the visibility of company’s products can be improved within the ideology and financial budget of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing and executing marketing and promotional initiatives to profitably increase consumption within budgeted parameters
  • Supports defining the brand’s packaging, advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly
  • Accountable for projects that help deliver the brand’s profit, volume and market share objectives
  • Coordinates product management projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (advertising agencies, market research, product development, production planning, trade activities, sales and consultants)
  • Analyzes market data and compares results to established objectives to assure the effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Prepare business updates and define insights/actions to support BM’s for the regular meetings (PMR, 16 Week, Stage&Gate presentations, Monthly Brand Audits, etc).
  • Close tracking of New Product Dveleopments with commercialization team to ensure flawless launch process
  • Leading social media planning with digital and media agency


  • Fresh graduates of maximum 2 years of work experience in marketing (preferably in the FMCG sector)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related discipline
  • Strong communication skills in English & Turkish
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and preferably Nielsen database
  • Strong communication skills with other functions, departments and third parties
  • Creative, innovative personality with special interest in product development
  • Ability to analyze numerical data and drive business results
