Job Description

The Co-Pack Financial Reporting team is seeking a candidate for an Accounting Operation Senior Analyst role. Qualified candidates must have strong accounting, analytical, communication and organizational skills.

The Co-Pack financial reporting team is responsible for preparing and issuing periodic financial statements for PCNA brands that are both accurate and timely to the Senior Leadership team of PBC. The role will also have several accounting and cash flow duties including calculating inventory reserves, profit in inventory calculations, commodities reporting and Q schedule reporting.

This role will interact with leaders across the PCUS teams including Planning, Contract Manufacturing Managers, Finance as well as leaders in Global Procurement.
  • Issuance of periodic financial statements (P&L, cause of change and balance sheet analytics)
  • Cash flow forecasting and period analytics
  • Preparation of periodic journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Q schedule reporting
  • Commodities analysis
  • Manage Co-Pack inventory reserves and Profit in inventory (PII) calculations
  • Weekly volume reporting for Co-Pack
  • Working with Director on special projects and ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 6 - 7 years of progressive experience in accounting
  • CPA preferred or some experience in public accounting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in using enterprise financial systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite. Advanced MS Excel knowledge (i.e., use of VLOOKUP, logic statements, use of pivot tables)
  • A proven ability to work well in a team environment across functions and interact effectively with all levels of personnel
