The Tech. Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality technical solutions for the PepsiCo Global template deployment project for PBNA for the Order to Cash, Trade Promotion Management and Procure to Pay Functional value streams.

This role will coordinate the technical project activities for these functional streams starting from pursuit/estimation to deployment/Hyper care and liaise with the other project streams to ensure technical readiness at each stage of the project. This will be accomplished by identifying project-wide touchpoints and dependencies with technical teams. This in conjunction with the planning and coordination of these activities to ensure timely readiness and flawless support.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with offshore leads to deliver RICEFW solutions for the Scheduling and Demand Planning, Finance and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis Functional value streams
  • Own the technical delivery plan for these streams, by coordinating and managing the technical delivery execution, including the interaction across sub-teams (System Management, Development and Integration, Legacy.) and the rest of project teams (Functional Value Streams, Testing, etc.)
  • Provide technical support to functional teams during the sprints. Lead technical development needed for the proof of concept in the SBX as requested by the functional team members
  • Work closely with other technical teams to make sure their components are being delivered so that the end to end interface works
  • Interface with the Enterprise architecture teams and governance team to engage in solution design discussions.
  • Interface with networking teams to get the ports/firewalls opened in time
  • Lead preparation and planning for the performance testing of high-volume interfaces
  • Ensure system readiness ahead of integration sprints
  • Liaise between the technical team and the rest of the project streams to ensure alignment, coordination and escalation when needed
  • Take active lead of the different sub technical teams to ensure adherence to the plan and help identify/resolve/mitigate any deviation
  • Partner closely with the PM team to ensure accurate planning of technical activities. Provide inputs for program planning or risk & issue escalation
  • Provide clear and timely communication on technical team progress or escalated risks/issue at all level of the organization. Translate complex technical topics/issues to non-technical partners/stakeholders
  • Support test execution from a technical standpoint, by ensuring test phase readiness, defect resolution and closure

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 12 years of related IT work experience, including significant experience managing teams (5+ years) and large-scale technical projects
  • 10+ years of SAP experience with cross-functional knowledge in Application Development, Middleware, System Admin, Infrastructure; S/4 & HANA experience a plus
  • 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP PI interfacing with SAP and non-SAP systems and at least 1 year of experience with PO
  • Solid experience working with ccBPM and NW BPM scenarios
  • Proficient at the application level as well as data-level integration using XML, Data Mapping & transformation tools
  • Proficient in SLD and various SAP PO system administration configurations
  • Exposure to the latest HANA Integration tools like SLT and SDI a big plus
  • SAP BODS experience a plus as well
  • Conceptual understanding of BADI/User Exits/Enhancement points
  • Strong experience with ALE and IDOC’s
  • Exposure to the latest HANA Integration tools like SLT and SDI a big plus
  • Knowledge of integration points between business processes
  • Solves highly complex problems within their work team
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
  • Ability to manage budget
  • Strong people management skills, ability to influence and bring others with him/her
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, quality management tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation and production support experience
