Job Description

  • Analyze, coordinate and improve logistical supply chain functions by developing short and long-term strategic initiatives supporting new beverage innovation projects in the beverages direct store delivery (DSD) supply chain (SC).
  • Responsible for shaping and sourcing recommendations for the life cycle of new innovation projects, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
  • Support development of the Long-term network Capacity & Capability as part of the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Business Plan.
  • Work cross-functionally with SC leaders to define, analyze and develop recommendations to senior leaders accounting for capacity, capability and business case.
  • Develop and defend the financial business case to support new manufacturing capability and capacity.
  • Support the development of design strategies to minimize the cost or time and drive continuous improvement within the team, and cross-functionally to streamline product distribution, network sourcing costs, and speed to market for innovations.
  • Update senior leaders on strategic initiatives and propose improvements to progress and elevate critical decisions.
  • Partner across the SC network to identify, share and implement best practices.
  • Serve as an internal advisor and project manager for new innovation SC Solutions.
  • Use software systems to plan and track the movement of products and design, run and updated existing Supply chain software models of the PBC Supply chain using Network Optimization tools such as LogicNet and/or Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master’s degree (the US or foreign equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. (preferred)
MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • 5+ years of work experience in the job offered or a related supply chain role of logistics, transportation, procurement, planning and management. (preferred)
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB:
  • Designing and developing supply chain innovation strategies leveraging modeling optimization tools and software.
  • Developing new distribution models in direct store and warehouse delivery initiatives.
  • Utilizing LogicNet or comparable network optimization software to model and implement strategic projects that result in service level improvements, reduction of distribution costs.
  • Performing financial analysis to develop business cases targeted for investment decisions.
  • Managing large projects and leading multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Integrating and implementing best practices through negotiation and execution.
  • Effectively influence, empower and delegate across various projects and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications/Requirements
