Work in partnership with the FLNA economic development team to identify and secure tax incentives, grants, tax credits and other economic incentives for PBNA.
Develops relationships with state and local government agencies and taxing jurisdictions in order to facilitate a streamlined process of securing incentives and providing required compliance reporting.
As a representative of Supply Chain Engineering, this role works closely with PepsiCo Tax, Legal, Government Affairs, Communications, Real Estate, and Finance to ensure all these groups are kept informed and that their business concerns are represented in the process of securing economic incentives.

Deliver Productivity:

Reduce the cost of capital expenditures in North America by identifying, applying for and/or negotiating economic incentives.
Works with PepsiCo Tax to ensure all available investment tax credits (Federal and State) are identified, applied for, secured and properly recorded.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Act as a liaison between Supply Chain and PepsiCo Tax, Legal, Government Affairs, Communications, Real Estate and Finance. Ensure that accurate information regarding taxes and incentives is captured on CAR’s submitted for approval.
Inform and update senior leadership on available incentives and any business requirements that may be necessary to secure incentives. Includes responsibility of reviewing all contracts and other legal documents associated with incentives and making sure that all reporting requirements are adhered to. Ongoing compliance reporting to all jurisdictions in which incentives have been secured.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another Business-related discipline. MBA is in Tax or Finance highly desirable. (Will consider other degrees with appropriate relevant work experience).
  • 5 or more years work experience in Tax, Accounting, Economic Development or Finance in a large, complex, organization
  • Experience in property tax or sales tax highly desirable
  • Able to represent PepsiCo in a public setting in a highly professional manner
  • Must be comfortable speaking in public settings in front of large audiences
  • Experience in negotiations desirable
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Exceptional time-management and highly organized record-keeping required
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and contract law desirable
