Job Description

Principal accountabilities:

  • Drives long term performance improvement across Quality;
  • Drives long term performance improvement across Cost & Productivity;
  • Drives long term performance improvement across Service;
  • Manages day to day decision making and operational aspects of designated supply base, managing issues with peers as required. Escalates to 3rd Party Manufacturing Managers and Geography Leads only when deemed appropriate;
  • On a periodic basis reviews with Geography Lead: Status on key projects and key milestone reviews / Performance and forecast vs. AOP & KPIs
  • Flawlessly executes all types of innovation and change within existing suppliers;
  • Manages 3PM qualification process together with R&D and Q&FS leads;
  • Partners with Commercialisation and R&D to understand innovation pipeline across Brand Refresh;
  • Manages all day to day decision making and operational aspects of designated supply base, managing issues with peers as required. Escalates to 3PM Lead only when deemed appropriate;
  • On a periodic basis reviews with 3PM Lead on: Status on key projects and key milestone reviews/Performance and forecast vs. AOP & KPIs, action planning/ Review of upcoming coman requirements/ Status review of productivity plan/Cost Avoidance/ Change management with 3PM (cost card, projects, capacity);
  • On a periodic basis reviews with Supply COE: Capacity/capability requirements for the region vs available at 3rd Party Manufacturers
  • Role plays a key part in the development and commercialisation of the innovation pipelines.
  • Manages third party investments up to $1MM
  • Drives 5% productivity year on year
  • Role is highly cross functional in nature and operates at a senior management level across categories, geographies and functions. As such will have influence over a large number of employees across peers, project team members and senior management (Marketing, Commercialisation, R&D, Q&FS, Operations, Supply Chain & Finance)
  • Role engages with and influences senior level executives in 3rd party food and beverage manufacturer (CEO,MD,etc)

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience/ competencies required:

  • Must have experienced background in Manufacturing;
  • Proven results at delivering business change;
  • Operating knowledge of how to commercialise large scale innovation;
  • Project leadership skills;
  • High level of business acumen ~ commercially savvy and financially aware;
  • Willingness to work across different BU’s;
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25%;
  • Strong leadership competencies (decision making, innovating, driving for results, motivating and inspiring others);
  • Strong collaborating and influencing skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast, multicultural and matrix job environment;
  • Excellent English and Polish language skills required;
  • Valid driver's licence is a must (Cat-B)
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office package
