The role is responsible for the delivery of the Release Management solutions for Europe IT Delivery GDP.

Define the Europe IT Delivery Release Calendar
Provide Release management capabilities to implement the release calendar and IT Delivery Release requirements
Delivery & Governance of release controls.
Participation in the GDP Europe release team and collaboration with GDP globally.
Provide release integrated delivery planning
Work with release stakeholders and customers to enable release planning and deliverables.
Coordination of release resources, requirements and deliverables.
SAP governance (PIRT & PGT): Protecting and improving global standards, supports global governance and template management, and provides subject matter expertise across all global object related changes and thought leadership for all sector related release and changes.
Collaborates with global team to facilitate adherence to global standards
Accountable for the delivery of the EUROPE release calendar annual plan.
Accountable for SAP landscape requirements to support and align with EUROPE projects, including third party applications.
Define system environment strategy for major projects.
Prepare and support planning of system refreshes, track status and coordinate refresh execution including communications, tracking risks and issues etc, for on-time system refresh delivery.
Participate and support the SAP and major application tranport strategy, assist with the coordination fo transports between development, quality and user acceptance environements.
Participate in key Sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies.
Coordinate global development synchronization and local production synchronization as per PepsiCo defined strategy.
Define and preapre the Technical Cutover (TCO) approach and plan for major releases including including non-production rehearsals and production systems, including scope, resources, agreed downtime, change ticket & approvals, communications and ways of working.
Responsible for technical cutover execution including, planning, status tracking and updates, plan coordination, technical bridge and overall activities related to execution.
Accountable for the synchronization of technical cutover to non-production to align systems and landscape.
Accountable for release planning of post technical cutover refresh (non-production) including planning, communications, status tracking and related tasks.
Coordinate and manage change freeze for SAP and non-SAP systems during Regression Testing phase.
Attend and provide inout requirements to relevant governance groups e.g. Release Advisory Board (RAB), Change Advisory Board (CAB) and other related approval boards.
Accountable for release governance processes and deliverables e.g. Release Calendar, Release Records, Release Plans.
Administration of release planning tools including e.g. Charm, Plutora, and ServiceNow.
Support agile project strategies and delivery requirements.
Stays up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means
Senior IT Manager with experience on leading and delivering large (Tier 1) transformation programs within a region or in the sector (typically 10+ years of IT experience, CPG experience preferred).
Strong IT background, robust command of key IT processes (project/program management, release management, and vendor relationship management).
8+ years of SAP experience with Application Development, System Admin or Release Management; S/4 & HANA experience a plus
Effective communication and facilitation, including preparing, organizing and delivering presentations and taking a leading role in workshops, meetings and discussions.
Proficient in written & spoken English is a MUST.
Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, Azure DevOps, quality management tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation and production support experience
Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe and PepsiCo’s Agile Methodology
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to travel to project locations - 80% or higher.
