Job Description

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

  • Check all incoming and outgoing loads at the gate
  • Make sure loads are sealed and accounted for
  • Ensure all loads follow Pepsi Gate Policy
  • Uses the Express Gateless Checkout Policy to effectively and accurately check out GEO trailers in the morning.
  • Works with Delivery Supervisor to ensure loading accuracy and Inventory security is held to the highest standard.
  • Checker will be cross-trained as a Gate Checker and Dock Checker.
  • Checker will work primarily in the yard, with the exception of Gate/Dock coverage when needed.
  • Enter bills of lading in NIS and on Excel
  • Perform well under pressure and work well within team setting
  • Work in a safe manner


  • High School degree required
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to work rotating schedule
  • Excel and computer proficiency required
  • Ability to detail plan when required work
  • Able to define and articulate plans and scope; schedule, set goals, determine priorities and meet target dates
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to get along with all groups of people to drive results
