Job Description

The Strategy Planning & Transformation (SP&T) team enables Pepsico in strategic decision making, by being the IT trusted partner who provides Portfolio Insights and harmonised processes, to make PepsiCo more profitable. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the SP&T team by providing support and insights regarding the different portfolios, with key focus on pipeline and portfolio planning. The role is specifically accountable for the day to day support of assigned Sectors – Europe & Asia

  1. Portfolio Insights – Support the creation of Europe & Asia KPIs regarding Portfolio Performance and assess on reporting creatuion. Analyse portfolio data, build trends, provide conclusions and recommendations in order to have a holistic view of the portfolio, as well as its evolution. Track progress of key KPIs and design new models and tools as needed.

  2. Governance & Harmonisation – support governance processes for assigned Sectors along the simplification and harmonisation of activities across the Sector. Collaborate with other Sectors to assess opportunity areas, facilitate best practices sharing. Provide inputs regarding associated portfolio processes and data quality issues, and track progress on a recurrent basis.

  3. Optimisation - review all existing processes and governance for the Sectors and provide inputs on overall opportunities to harmonise, simplify and build efficiencies. Work with he SP&T partners to launch new improvement activities and ensure harmonised processes across the different geographies.

  4. Capability build – ensure the right level of capability within the Sector to adopt new tools, reporting and processes being launched. Assess key users in the utilisation of tools and associated processes to provide visibility of the portfolio.

  5. Ad-hoc analysis - support Europe and Asia Sector’s by providing comprehensive ad-hoc analysis following specific requirements from SP&T and IT leadership team, to facilitate a better understanding of the portfolio and its associated processes (e.g. strategic annual plan), leveraging different sources of information, historical data, and providing insights on the conclusions that can be achieved through the outputs.

  6. Communication – provide timely and proper communication on new releases, insights and changes to governance models. Secure change management activities regarding new processes to ensure they land properly within the assigned Sector’s users.

Education:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent


Previous Experience desired:

  • Experience of working in an IT environment

  • Experience dealing with complex data and building trends

  • Desired experience in building reporting in different platforms, especially Tableau or other reporting tools would be ideal
