Job Description

Manage close and consolidation of the PepsiCo balance sheet, including quarterly and annual reporting, intercompany eliminations and special projects. Also, the management of two direct reports.

  • Responsibility and review of Corporate Consolidation journal entries impacting the PepsiCo balance sheet
  • Responsible for periodic review of all inter/intracompany balance sheet eliminations journals entries (AR/AP/Equity) prepared by direct reports
  • Review of elimination of intercompany dividends declared/income prepared by direct reports
  • Responsible for the ownership and utilization of inter/intracompany analysis tool from a reporting perspective
  • Responsible for reporting and review of the Consolidated Balance Sheet and Statement of Other Comprehensive Income for the quarterly and annual SEC filings
  • Responsible for reporting and review of Total Assets by Segment, Long-Lived Assets, PP&E and Intangibles Assets, Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income/Loss and Supplementary Financial Information footnotes for the quarterly and annual SEC filings
  • Responsible for the review of quarterly PepsiCo Balance Sheet analysis (including sectors) which is presented to PepsiCo Corporate Controller
  • Review of monthly and periodic foreign exchange rates published by PepsiCo Treasury into the financial reporting system
  • Management of various special reporting projects assigned to the team ensuring timely completion
  • Completion of all related SOX requirements as needed
  • Support audit review


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA
Work experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting
  • Results-oriented

  • Flexible, creative, resourceful, self-motivated with a desire for self-improvement
Ability to adapt quickly & maintain flexibility with regard to special projects, revisions to areas of responsibility and organizational change

Additional Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Big 4 accounting experience
  • Experience in both public and private sectors
  • Proficient in Excel
  • HFM reporting
  • SOX
