Job Description

  1. Main Purpose
    1. This role would be primarily involved in the following activities:
      1. Acting as the first person responsible for consolidating results and all reporting related requirements to AMEA Sector for India Foods BU in HFM reporting module
      2. Reporting all monthly, quarterly and Annual Schedules to AMEA Sector within agreed timelines
      3. First person responsible for closing statutory accounts and coordinating with KPMG for statutory and tax audit for specifies legal entities
      4. Preparing and submitting of annual US Tax Package to Corporate
      5. Acting as a key control owner in the Financial Reporting processes wrt HFM submissions
  1. Key Accountabilities
    1. Management Reporting - Monthly Financial Reviews
      1. Responsible for consolidating results of India Foods BU
      2. Facilitate and track closure of all closing related issues before consolidating
      3. Finalize results for review with Foods Reporting Manger
      4. Report results and include Hyperion reporting, QOE and other reports
      5. Responsible for handling all queries that would be coming from the Sector
      6. Prepare other monthly sector deliverables
      7. Ensure Hyperion of 3 Countries and ELCO
      8. Prepare & review Foods & RHQ G&A on a monthly basis
    2. Management Reporting - Operating Reviews
      1. Perform variance analysis of Working Capital Metrics (DII, DSO, DPO etc) together with business reasons for the same
      2. Prepare and submit quarterly deliverables like Q schedule, GNG Reporting, P&L Analysis, Balance Sheet analysis to AMEA Sector within agreed timelines
      3. Liaison with respective departments (Marketing, HR etc) for collation of data and reporting out
      4. Prepare & submit annual deliverables
      5. Support the reporting manager in collation & consolidation of pre-close deck for sector review
      6. Support the rep manager in preparation & consolidation of overall foods & Foods balance sheet review by Region Controller
    3. Financial Reporting – Reporting
      1. Prepare the Indian entities 5471 files to Support Centre (SC) and provide any additional information as required for back up)
    4. Audit and Compliance – Statutory Compliance
      1. Prepare the Indian accounts in the statutory format for ADBL
      2. Prepare all balance sheet schedules
      3. Prepare all details as required by the auditors before the start and during their audit
      4. Ensure as many issues are closed as possible
      5. Finalise and close statutory audits
      6. Prepare 3CD and related annexure
      7. Ensure details are provided to transfer price auditors as per their requirements
    5. Business Partnering and Support - Operations/Backend Support
      1. Responsible for handling all queries that would be coming from the Sector


  1. Key Skills/Experience Required
    1. CA with 1-2 years of prior experience in FMCG sector.
  1. Skills and Behavioral Attributes
    1. Financial Process Management - This role should be capable of managing internal processes to optimize revenue, cost, cash flow and customer service
    2. Financial Planning & Forecasting – The role holder should be able to contribute the developing of the annual operating plan, operating forecast and capital appropriation requests; provide business analysis to management
