Job Description

  • The responsibility of the DRP planner is to identify, review & resolve the exceptions and maintain accuracy & update some of the DRP parameters
  • Monitor what the previous process is automatically generating: default and required pre-defined exceptions by SKU, such as plan exceptions, stock out, stock low, stock high, obsolete stock or process exceptions
  • Review the root cause of the exceptions to ensure that net requirements are calculated properly and service levels are met:
  • SKU DRP parameters issues
  • network/sourcing issues
  • shipping/arrival calendar issues
  • inventory obsolescence issues
  • Resolve the exceptions to be able to run again the process properly
  • If the exceptions cannot be resolved, it will be escalated to the category supply planner and/or line manager for immediate action
  • Maintain & update DRP parameters:
  • shipping/arrival calendars, relationships, SKU DRP parameters, network and lead times
  • sourcing, planning horizons are maintained by Supply Planning
  • safety stock parameters are maintained by Inventory Planning
  • active SKUs, external Forecast, DFU to SKU and substitutions are maintained by Demand Planning
  • Coordination with category supply planning, BU demand planning, DC’s planners and logistics in Central Warehouse’s to ensure correct alignment among them

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors/Master degree (preferable in Economics or Engineering)
  • 2 years of Supply chain experience in FMCG manufacturer and/or retailer
  • Able to work collaboratively a multifunctional environment
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Experience in carrying out optimization projects
  • Solid understanding of & ability to use IT/planning systems (JDA preferred)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quickly analyses complex problems to find actionable, pragmatic solutions
