Project Manager

Principal purpose
Translates business strategy into business needs and requirements; and ensures the definition of how business projects should be managed and performed to deliver defined business results. Also develops project management capability and culture within the organization.

Main responsabilities

  1. Accountable for the Project/Program Management is assigned within PepsiCo. This includes: processes, tools, methodologies, best practices and project management
  2. Lead, follow, monitor and improve the value realization methodology to track the committed benefits in the projects
  3. Lead the project following the PM methodology and governance for compliance in the functions where is applicable
  4. Ensure constant follow up and status reporting to provide critical projects visibility and escalation process as needed
  5. Responsible to establish within the projects involved all the process and governance for resource management and resources allocation to facilitate trade off decisions
  6. Benchmarking on project excellence:
    • Develop the value offer of benchmarking and lead its implementation.
    • Benchmark within foods and consumer packaged goods industries, as well as within other industries for key business processes and business excellence
  7. People management:
    • Lead and develop the team on project management, providing them with the tools and developing the required skills and competencies for their role (project management, change management, leadership skills, etc).
    • Coach and mentor transformation employees

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience and profile

Skilled executive with highly structured and systemic approach to end to end value chain and with consulting skills to support and provide tools and skills for transformation.

Professional:

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing major projects in supply chain, with duration of 6 months to 2 year and management teams of 5 or more collaborators
  • At least 5 years of experience on ValueChain projects
  • At least 10 years of experience as Senior Consultant and in designing Value Chain solutions
  • At least 4 years of experience occupying executive positions and / or managers with 3 or more collaborators
  • Business know-how and knowledge
  • Highly-oriented results
  • Analytic oriented
  • Nice to have: supply chain knowledge and/or commercial processes, and at least 8 years of experience in value chain areas (Sales and Operations)

Educational:
  • Professional / Bachelor in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Systems and/or Administration Technology Management or Business Management
  • Certification or training on Project Management (desirable)
  • English and Spanish fluent professional
