Join a new dedicated Europe Marketing Capability team! Working across many markets, categories and brands in Europe to develop, support and execute the European Marketing Foundational Capability Strategy and Agenda to contribute to the ambition of being the ‘Best Brand Building Organisation in Europe’. Working with the Senior Director and Center of Excellence Leads to build the capability strategy & plans, and working with both the Extended Marketing & Insights Transformation (EMIT) team and the Capability Champions team (representatives from Categories and Markets) to develop, deploy & embed the Capability Plan.

You will be responsible for;

  • Leading the development of the first Annual Europe Marketing Awards program through setting up nomination process and senior leader judging panel and planning awards celebration event.
  • Leading the planning for the 2020 senior leader Conference – Deliver an inspiring and engaging senior leader conference through working with event agencies, team assistants and the Europe Sales Team – this includes working with members of Europe’s Executive Team
  • Leading the deployment of all Europe marketing training courses, running WebEx or face to face sessions as necessary
  • Establishing best in class on-going Capability Communications to the Europe Marketing community - including global GBTMP portal engagement and delivering content inspiration
  • Developing and leading a new starter program for Europe Marketing – to inspire and educate new starters with the Pepsico Way of Marketing
  • Leading the development of a training framework - establish Training Deployment Plan split by level and specialism and principles for Modules
  • Supporting the development of a group of ‘Capability Champions’ who will be representatives from each BU & Category Team
  • With ongoing communication forums, sharing of best practice, cascading and championing Europe Capability plans and agenda Supporting the Senior Director to develop and then leadinf the annual Marketing Capability Assessment process across Europe Marketing
  • Support the Senior Director on developing and deploying new Europe Marketing Career Mapping tools
  • Supporting the Senior Director on the development of 2021+ Europe Capability Plan and Strategy

Qualifications/Requirements

Knowledge:
Essential:

  • FMCG Internal Communications or Brand Management experience - Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Manager level
  • Global matrix organisation experience
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Fluent in English
  • Desirable: Knowledge of and experience in training and development and event planning

  • Self-starter; ability to shape set and deliver an agenda with little supervision
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent collaboration & influencing skills that can navigate a cross-functional matrix - Ability to lead and influence large cross-functional project teams
