Job Title: Mountain Dew Communications Marketing Director

Duties: Develop and evolve brand positioning and communications strategy for the Mountain Dew Trademark. Bring positioning to life by developing and executing 360 campaign strategy through relevant communications as well as earned and paid media channels. Develop consumer engagement plans to bring Mountain Dew to life via the brand’s cultural pillars such as gaming, sports, racing, and music. Lead strategy, planning and execution for brand partnerships and programming. Build and manage relationships with key agency partners that will be responsible for creative development and execution. Develop relationships with internal cross functional teams that can provide support and expertise in specific areas, including media, PR, sports, legal, finance, and consumer relations. Oversee marketing spending and ensure programs deliver key metrics and are on budget. Partner with Mountain Dew brand counterparts to ensure cohesive brand plans, and flawless in-store execution. Lead a team of 3 (Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager and Marketing Analyst).

Qualifications/Requirements

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have experience with: marketing campaigns and communication, including campaign development and management, media strategy and planning, and public relations; time management, program management, and program development; managing large budgets; project and stakeholder management; and digital marketing forms, including social media marketing and content marketing. Travel required up to 30% of the time.
