As part of the eCommerce team, the role is responsible for all eCommerce aspects of Belgian OT accounts (Colruyt, Carrefour, Delhaize), the French speaking AFH accounts (Trendyfoods) as well as eCommerce new business development in Belgium – together with the eCommerce lead. The job holder is charged with setting up the short and long term customer & partner development initiatives and executing the customer commercial eCommerce strategy. This is done in close collaboration with the Head of eCommerce and relevant stakeholders. The Ecommerce Accountmanager is the lead both internally and externally towards customers/partners. They work tightly together with the Benelux Sales teams.
The job holder is responsible for translating data and insights obtained from their customers and our partners (e.g. Nielsen) and leveraging these into actionable recommendations towards our category teams, (shopper) marketing, sales, and all other relevant stakeholders and lifting and shifting to other customers.
The job holder is responsible for co-driving eCommerce capability in the BU, ensuring skills transfer from eCommerce to sales, marketting and category management.
  • Own the commercial relationships with key customers/partners, optimising product visibility online & executing stand out digital campaigns
  • Develop & execute your customers’ joint business plans to achieve online Gross Rev, Net Rev, Volume & share targets
  • Support the wider sales teams, acting as digital champion & ensuring best in class channel execution for promotions, campaigns and promotional activations
  • Effectively execute business opportunities that drive Net Rev and MC
  • Maintain scorecards & consistent KPIs - provide regular detailed insights of performance to enable comparisons and drive tangible actions
  • Provide support and input into building the long-term customer plans and the translation of this into AOP priorities
  • Identify and execute eCommerce Test & Learn initiatives in the Joint Business Plans
  • Manage cross-functional relationships both internally and externally: Customer Profitability, Shopper Marketing, Customer Insights, Supply, Marketing [esp. digital specialists], Business Information Services (IT), Finance & Credit Control
  • Support ecommerce capability building of the Benelux sales team
  • Links with digital marketing team to ensure full-funnel thinking in campaign execution
  • Contributes to digital transformation agenda by promoting and supporting transformation events (e.g. Digital Day, Create 2 Inovate program).
  • Being an active member of a wider Europe Digital & eCommerce community

Bachelors Degree
Fluent in Dutch and French, good business English
<4 years of working experience
Solid digital trading experience, understanding the commercial levers to drive performance (Range, Price, Experience, Marketing)
Experience managing customer relationships
Clear understanding of (Shopper) Insights – ability to quickly process information available, translating this into clear tactics and to steer the business performance
Strong negotiation skills
Solid commercial acumen to manage both our internal operational agenda & customer growth objectives
Ability to operate within a moving & growing agenda – Maximising new opportunities & concepts
Ability to engage, mobilize and inspire customers/partners + internal stakeholders
