Support the development of new innovation projects within the PepsiCo product portfolio.
Provide technical and business risk assessment and perspectives related to new product development. Lead global crosses functional Technical Teams through the PepsiCo Stage Gate process from Idea Refinement to Launch & Learn.
Serve as the communication conduit between the R&D cross functional Technical Team and the Business Team by effectively compiling, synthesizing, and communicating information with multiple business functions and R&D ensuring timely information exchange.
Understand the key technical characteristics and general business implications of products, processes, and packaging technologies used by PepsiCo. Create and manage a cross-functional project plan to successfully deliver new product/process/package innovation, globally. Facilitate the definition of scope, project goals, and success criteria.
Perform deep risk analysis for complex projects, resulting in risk registers, mitigation strategies, and communication plans. Communicate project status, risks, and scope creep with impact to all stakeholders on a regular basis.
Develop, manage, and communicate project budgets, timelines, and resource needs.
- Bachelor’s degree (the U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Nutrition or related field and ten (10) years of CPG experience in R&D.
- Must have five (5) years of experience with Food R&D; Beverage R&D; and project management.
- Must have three (3) years of experience with cross-functional collaboration at senior level.
- Must have one (1) year of experience managing subordinates.
- Must have PMI certification: PMP.
- Travel required up to 15% of the time.
