This role reports to the Sr. Director, PBC Supply Chain Accounting and Control and is primarily responsible for Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold special project for primarily the Bottling DSD portion of Supply Chain. The role will oversee various special projects that come into the department on a yearly basis. The work requires a high degree of collaboration with various functions and a detailed knowledge of inventory and cost accounting.
As the Senior Manager of Special Projects, you will utilize your accounting and analytical background to create improvements and new processes across various activities specific to the PBNA Supply Chain Control and Operations network. Short-term work in this area could include improvements to work that crosses various PEP groups such as Global Procurement, Gatorade, Tropicana, NASS, Frito, PBNA FP&A and PBNA Operations, the integration of new manufacturing and warehouse sites (like a co packer) into the network, work to streamline quarterly commodities reporting, the development of processes in new lines of selling like eComm to name a few. You will partner with various other teams to support your work and expand your network. This role will also have interaction with senior management across multiple businesses and departments.
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Comprehend detailed cost accounting processes
- CPA preferred or strong operational and Supply Chain background
- At least 10 years or more of prior experience with a solid knowledge of inventory and cost accounting
- Proficient in Oracle, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Business Objects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact confidently with various levels of functional leadership
- Ability to problem solve, manage projects and prioritize workload
- Beverage industry or Supply Chain experience is preferred
