Job Description

  • Leads the SAP DVM team at IT Hub
  • Manage all aspects of archiving project implementation from requirements gathering to post go-live activities adhering to PepsiCo’s defined methodology
  • Communicates project status to all stakeholders
  • Monitors project execution to identify obstacles and deviations from plan and takes corrective action as needed
  • Lead and coordinate configuration and implementation of archiving objects within the project scope according to signed off user requirements. (KEY)
  • Conducts continuous risk assessment and management and includes measures to reduce risk in daily project management activities.
  • Create & update project solution documents (FSDs, diagrams, test plans, etc.)
  • Work with ABAP resources to align technical specifications to functional requirements.
  • Ensure required systems validation standards with regards to design and test specifications are met.
  • Performs closing activities, including formal review and sign-offs with business stakeholders.
  • Adheres to PepsiCo’s controls, processes and standards.
  • Prioritize team’s work and assign daily work tasks with limited supervision
  • Submits period forecasts, manages project and organizational financials by accurately tracking and updating expense status through period forecasts to ensure budget expectations are achieved
  • Provides input to annual objectives, conducts annual performance processes including setting objectives and measurement and performance evaluation, conducts PMP Process, responsible for hiring decisions
  • Manages a team size of about 10+ direct reports
  • Ensures effective resource utilization across the workgroup
  • Get guidence from global teams for standards and direction
  • Provides outstanding customer service to direct and indirect customers

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SAP Certificates and/or PMP Certification are a plus
  • 10+ years of SAP experience required, preferably functional (e.g. FICO)
  • Minimum 7+ years SAP Data Archiving and DaRT implementation experience is preferred
  • Requires excellent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • Project Management experience in Archiving is a must
  • Deep understanding of one or more SAP functional areas such as FI/CO and Logistics
  • Deep understanding of dependencies between SAP Technical Development and other SAP implementation activities such as configuration, landscape and system planning and security.
  • Must have completed full implementation life cycle for SAP Data Archiving (i.e. blueprint to sustain for multiple archive objects)
  • Understands flow of business processes and supporting IT infrastructure (idocs, workflows, data exchange, interfaces)
  • Hands-on experience with managing Content Servers or any other Imaging solution (i.e. PBS PCL, IXOS, Filenet, Documentum, etc); PBS PCL experience is preferred
  • Experience implementing and sustaining PBS Add-On is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications
  • (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business and project requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP Charm, ITIL tools & processes, HP Service Manager, HP Quality Center, project implementation and production support experience
  • Must have previous experience managing small teams and proven ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
  • Experience in CPG industry preferred
  • PIRT knowledge and governance experience preferred
