Job Description

- Food or Beverages categories “market support” role focused on recommending, building and managing brands visibility in Organized Trade and OOH channels through key initiatives such as : marketing events (e.g.: Roland Garros, UEFA Champions League…), trade accounts tailor made promotions, marketing equipment (temporary and permanent point of sales material), key New Product Development launches support, in store demonstration,…
- Accountable for supporting Marketing and Accounts strategies through key initiatives and appropriate sales to customers tools box aiming superior in store execution
- Total budget A&M 2018 available : avg. 5 000 K€
- Accountable for 360-degree analysis

Permanent contacts with:

  • Category Management : tailor made promotions and initiatives
  • KAM : tailor made promotions and initiatives
  • Marketing : NPD launch plans, branded in store visibility
  • Procurement : Many tenders to launch
  • Field Sales force + Management : in store implementation
  • Promo agencies : designs and briefs
  • Print manager + suppliers : material equipment production
  • Digital: Field applications
  • Logistics : material equipment field availability
  • Sales Zone Manager : category in-store activation

Main Purpose:
  • Ensure maximum brands visibility from Key Accounts managed features (e.g.: leaflets…) to local stores execution (POSM)
  • Recommend, develop and deliver with a certain autonomy all the appropriate initiatives supporting the marketing and accounts AOP strategy across Food or Beverages categories and some Power of One initiatives
  • Contribute to build greater customer service and action plans efficiency through proactive benchmark
  • Participate to several internal meetings to present, defend and validate initiatives

Accountabilities – list in priority order the main accountabilities/deliverables of the role, including key measures. These should be clearly the responsibilities of the JOB HOLDER.
  • Translate Marketing and accounts visibility strategies into commercial action plans (key NPD launch supports, POS material permanent and temporary, key events, in store demo, …)
  • Manage initiatives with internal relatives (marketing, category management, key accounts, and field sales) and external suppliers (agency, print manager, logistics…)
  • Ensure appropriate execution tracking and reporting to sales and marketing teams through scorecards communication and meetings
  • Analyze key initiatives with internal tools (Powerplay, IRI…) to feed AOP long term strategies

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Skills/Experience Required – specific education/certification, specific functional experience, language etc NEEDED for the job.


Critical experience:
2+ years in Commercial FMCG with Sales Reps role
